yes they are members of the populace

/  They cared enough about what was going
/on to show up to the meeting.  Somebody has to lead- and I for one don't
/care whether you happen to be a member of the Order of the Pink Marmoset or
/not as long as you reason your decisions, are thoughtful of others feelings,
/and are willing to show up and sweat with the rest of us.

I was trying to point out that the people who aren't mover's and shaker's
should be concerned and should have cared enough to attend the meeting
since they were at the event instead of get second hand opinion of 
how the meeting went.

No they aren't chopped liver...but most of them were "ones who travel"
and "ones who have a clue" and "ones that want to get a clue"

Then again the choice of non-involvement means that the vote of
those people will not reflect an educated view but the view of
the last person to sway them...baaaaaa
