A sillier excuse for a war there never was [1], it was carefully
scripted to be a draw ... and *still* some people took it 
seriously and bad blood developed between Bryn Gwlad and Steppes.
Or so says Baron Robin, who was then Baron of the Steppes.

[1] Well, the war in Northern Atlantia over 1/3 of a peppercorn
might fit.  As I dimly recall it, Ponte Alto was splitting
from Storvik.  Storvik said they owed one (1) peppercorn per
year to the crown of Atlantia, and since Ponte Alto was about
1/3 of pre-split Storvik, PA owed 1/3 peppercorn
blast the fire alarm just went off.  Expected fire drill.  Bye!
