SR - Some Thoughts on Names

Pendaran had a fine note about period names.  He suggested
"Land of the Southerners" or something along those lines.
In fact, the one SCA kingdom name that is drop-dead
authentic is the Kingdom of the East; in German, it would
be written Osterreich, which is usually rendered in English
as Austria.  Thus, I think the concept doable.
"Southland" might run afoul of trademark, as that used to be the
company that owned 7-11.  (Didn't they go bankrupt?  Does it
still exist?)  "Reich" or "realm" might fall afoul of the
fact it's not a kingdom.  Other nouns would be possible.
