I guess I was unclear in my e-mail.  If you omit a tincture
from a charge, the *next* tincture found applies.  In this
case, since the chief has no tincture listed, it would have
to be sable ... so there's a black laurel wreath and black
stars on a black chief.

I like it.  AElfwyn found a period example of semy of lions,
and the one-between-two on the chief is a late-ish
period notion (see the arms of Archbishop Woseley).
