What are your ideal borders for a principality in Ansteorra?

I suppose that I have been the main proponent of the small
principality concept, though my feelings are not strong on the
subject. But,

I have heard some, both within our region and without speak
negatively of principalities, as the breaking of the Black Star. A
small principality will be easier to defend against such claims. A
small principality will not become a Kingdom quickly.

I have no ideal borders. I felt that the idea needed a starting
place, and since I live here I started here. With Bjornsborg, and
Bryn Gwlad, we have the minimum levels necessary for a principality.
Beyond there, I figure that we invite anyone within the Southern
Region to join, but of course, we force no one.

The Western Region had not occurred to me until it was mentioned on
this list, I never wanted such a large principality, but if they are
interested, then I say we discuss it.

Now, back to the original question, ideal borders. I-35 corridor,
from Waco to Bjornsborg. I would restrict it to about 60 miles
either side to I-35. Do not get angry. I will not be defending this
position. I do not care, nor do I want to restrict entrance into the
Principality. I do see a potential problem, though a minor one with
our principality sitting astride the artery between two of the
largest Baronies in the Kingdom. Raven's Fort is on I-45 between
Stargate and Steppes. My suggestion would be expansion south to
Seawinds and La Marche Sauvage, rather than east away from I-35.

Okay, let me have it. But remember, that it won't make a difference,
because I do not care a lot where the borders are drawn, except that
I would prefer to avoid Houston, and Dallas-Fort Worth. If we
include all of Texas, then I see no purpose to a principality.

There's my two bits worth. Obviously it was much more than two cents
worth.
