Juuuust a quick little point of interjection here.  I have heard a few people say this before but you know what?  None of em have been *from* the West.  The fact is I have heard darned little concerted feedback from the Western residents and the majority of what I have heard is of the opposite tack- that they *don't* need us.  As I said before, in order to make this position plausible _at all_ I suggest getting the Western players to come down to this meeting and tell us themselves.  I submit that if they don't show, they aren't interested.  Also, I have it on good authority that the Central Region has been mulling over inviting the West to go with them on a Principality; an idea that solidifies the concept that the West doesn't *really* need us.

I hope you do, Mistress, I hope you do.  I suggest futher that you bring a copy of these arguments along with you to shore your proposal.  Let's get as many viewpoints in on this as possible.  Most importantly, INVITE ALL YOUR WESTERN FRIENDS!
