SR - Describing Our Region

I'm by no means a specialist, but here are some direct translations of
Heartland and Southland. Someone with grammatical ability in these
languages can polish them up, but at least this is a starting point.

Heartland in French = centre
Heart Land in French = terre de coeur
-	Italian = terra del cuore
-	German = innerland
-	Spanish = pista del corazo'n

	Southland in German = su:den
South Land in German = su:dland
-	French = du sud terre
-	Italian = del sud terra
-	Spanish = del sur pista
-	Portugese = sul terra

Also, the southern portion of Italy is generally referred to as the
Risorgiomento (or something like that. I'll look up the exact term.)
Which loosely translates to the place of the sun, because that portion
of Italy tends to get more of that than the north. I THINK I have seen
that term used even in period to refer to the regions south of Rome. It
is not, otherwise, used as an actual name, since each of those regions
has their own name (such as the Kingdom of Napoli). I don't know if such
a construct would be allowable for our purposes, but we do tend to get a
lot of sun around here.

"A soldier uses arms merely with skill, whereas a knight uses them
with virtuous intention. Mercenaries may be excellent soldiers; but
an action which may be praised in a soldier may be blamed in a
knight. For a soldier, the goal is victory: for the knight, since he
is ready to go, if necessary, to certain destruction, the goal is
honor." - Pomponio Torelli, 1596.
