thanks, over the years i've seen many important endevours get bogged down / mis-
directed when the people involved lost sight of the important matters at hand 
and focused on the non-important (or were consciously redirected to them to 
derail) .  in this case, the comment was directed to the point that there are 
more important matters at hand than creation of stocks of simple physical 
things ... call it the "golden calf syndrome".  

i've seen pre-ansteorra pull together and hive off as a principality (with far 
fewer people than this region).  the important work got done as it needed to 
get done.  when there was a excess of available resources, they were directed 
to the secondary things (as in this case, the creation of physical awards ... 
creation of "consumer goods" always comes after the new social structures are 
stable).  ... and later things grew into a kingdom.  

it's all a natural and healthy evolutionary progression, that happens as it 
happens.     

all in all, it's interesting being able to watch the same process, occuring in 
the in the same locations, in a similar but quite different population, with 
differing reasons for hive-off, all observed from a similar vantage point.  
someday i really should write it all up as a compare / contrast.

have patience all, what is necessary to be done, will be done as it is needed 
... it would be a mistake to impose timetables on the process.
