Victor,
I never said that the disadvantage would apply only to on-line discussion.
And believe me, I know what it takes to keep a discussion group on topic. I
taught many years in high school and even taught on the college level.

I just want to know what kind of small details could be taken care of in
this manner??

I just prefer to speak to people in person whenever possible. Modern
communication systems are fantastic but will never take the place of eye
contact.
Also, sometimes it is just not possible for me to know when I can jump on
the net. I work nights and never know if it is going to busy or not - and
I'm the seneschal and Lion's Tale rep for Ffynnon Gath and, to the best of
my ability, the one who keeps up with what is going on on the lists. :)
