OK, I started the Yahoo! group... here is the following info. Since I was already on the web, and I can only read this Ansteorra list on the web, I couldn't get the addresses of anyone else to invite (except for Gunther's). Please, if you want to share your photos (like Master Pug just did on his own web site), please go to this new group and make yourself a folder in the Photos section and put in your images. If you have some instructions, put them into the Files section... the same thing if you have some cool links you think others would like to share. I did make it moderated, which means I have to approve you (which I will)... I just want to be sure we keep SPAMMERs out of the picture.
I expect all our discussions to continue here, not on the Yahoo! site... it will be for images and that sort of thing only.
Your Medieval-Open-Fire-Cooking group at Yahoo! Groups is good to go.

Yeah. We drove down to help Mistress Clara with her Guardian of the
Gauntlet feast. We're back now.
>(Gunther, should I call it the Spit-Project, or do we want to change it to
>something more like "How to Cook Using a Spit""... you all will just have
Meh. Maybe "Period open fire cooking" or something. This list will remain
with the rather amusing "spit-project" title because I think we'd have to
create something new and have everyone resubscribe. I'll check with the
server admins if it can be changed if everyone would prefer a new name.
