A very simple bread oven was demonstrated (I'm totally and shamelessly
copying it) by Clan MacOwain (sp?)at Pennsic last year.  It was a 3-sided
box of 5 concrete patio tiles, like a 6-sided dice missing a side.  It was
dug into the ground adjoining the fire pit and was level with the top of the
ground.  The fire was raked into it to allow it to heat up, then raked out
and brushed, and a sixth tile set in front of the opening to seal it for
baking.
