Second call / last call for moving assistance:
Anyone planning to assist is requested to contact us directly (my cel phone is probably best for Dallas loading between now and Saturday, the Houston apartment number Sunday; both have voicemail) beforehand so we can better plan the load / unload AND consider requests for drinkables before we make the store run. (SOME people have already been specifically planned for...)

Steppes area: there are various items available on a "you haul it away, it's yours" basis, including lumber for two Viking A-frames (and pipe for at least one), a box of automotive parts, some metal shelves, and other miscellany.  There will be a "parting glass" available to the adults who assist before we hit the road ... (sampler cups from the last of the mead I brewed some years back).

Westgate/Stargate: anything we have room for that isn't spoken for out of these "grab-bag" items (assuming we have strength left for loading it) will be available on the same conditions; if something from this list makes it down here and nobody takes it, the dumpster will feed well... except for any remaining mead, of course!

  Well, folks, it has come to that time.  Mundane employment has taken me to Houston and appears to be keeping me here.  Therefore, it is now time to pack up the household goods and make the move more permanently / thoroughly.

  Steppes, we will be loading the truck at 8036 Deer Trail to the accompaniment of the normal inducements (pizza&drinkables, plus some prime loot:  lumber and at least some of the pipe for TWO "Viking A-frames" going to the lucky, brave, or headstrong) on December 14th commencing approximately 9AM.

  Anyone looking for a house to rent in Dallas who would consider the White Rock Valley neighborhood (just north of Flagpole Hill), contact me off-list.  The place has some problems that need to be resolved by the owner, but it is *very* convenient to Flagpole Hill and has other features of note (TREES, 3BR/1BTH).

  Westgate/Stargate, we will be UNloading said truck on December 15th commencing at approximately 9AM.  The assistance of a few "hesky young squires" would be greatly appreciated, and the normal inducements will also be provided (pizza & drinkables).
