[Stargate] Sign up for Stargate BAM Food Plan

If you want to participate in the meal plan (i.e., if you want to eat meals
with Stargate), here's what you need to do:

 

.         Sign up for meals - Email me NOW to let me know which meals you
will be eating (imstephw at swbell.net). I need a head count by the end of
today so that our cooks know how much food to buy. If you are not able to
sign up today, there is no guarantee that there will be enough food to
include you. The menu is listed below.

.         Sign up to help in the kitchen - Participation means helping in
the kitchen as well as eating. We need people to help the cooks prep, cook,
and serve meals, people to clean up after meals, people to help set up and
take down the kitchen/common pavilion, people to be responsible for hauling
away the trash, and people to help pack and load kitchen equipment, and
anything else the kitchen coordinator needs. When you email me about the
meals you're eating, please tell me when and how you're willing/able to
help, otherwise I'll make random assignments. 

.         Pay for your meals - I will be accepting cash payments in camp at
BAM. 

.         Bring your own drinking vessel.

.         Bring your own chair to use in camp. 

 

If you are a cook:

 

.         Please sit tight. I will get a head count to you by the end of the
day. 

.         I will reimburse you for your food costs at BAM. 

.         I will purchase and bring all of the disposable supplies
(disposable plates, bowls, utensils, paper towels, trash bags) and the
instant beverages. 

.         I will bring my kitchen set up, which includes stove, propane,
trash can, tables, pots and pans, cooking utensils, chafing dishes, and
cleaning supplies. If there is something specific you need that we have not
previously discussed, please let me know ASAP.

.         Bring your own ice chest to store the food you are cooking/serving
and ice to keep it cold. Bring 4 gallons of drinking water with you for camp
use.

.         Andrius - I added bacon and bananas to the breakfast you are
serving so that the fighters have some protein and potassium. I'll make sure
you get help cooking the bacon. Can you purchase and bring the bacon and
bananas or would you like for me to do so?

.         Wolf and Nicolet - I added dessert to the dinners you are serving.
It doesn't have to be anything fancy - store-bought cakes, pies, cookies -
anything sweet will do.

 

Meals: 

 

The cost of each meal includes disposable plates, bowls, utensils, paper
towels, drinking water, and an assortment of instant hot beverages (coffee,
teas, cider, cocoa). It does NOT cover beverages other than those listed or
drinking vessels, so please bring your own.

 

Friday - Breakfast

Menu: breakfast tacos (flour tortillas, scrambled eggs, ground pork sausage,
shredded Monterey jack cheese, taco sauce, salsa, sour cream), yogurt,
bananas, assorted instant hot beverages (coffee, tea, cider, cocoa)

Cost: $5 per person

 

Friday - Dinner

Cook: Wolf

Menu: Seafood gumbo and white rice, cornbread, dessert

Cost: $5 per person

 

Saturday - Breakfast

Cook: Andrius

Menu: Copycat Cinnabuns, bacon, bananas, assorted instant hot beverages
(coffee, tea, cider, cocoa)

Cost: $5 per person

 

Saturday - Dinner

Cook: Nicolet

Menu: Pasta with meat sauce, salad, bread, dessert

Cost: $5 per person

 

Sunday - Breakfast

Cook: Anne
