Good Idea!  Also web address we have found helpful.  It can
be very difficult for a beginning period cook to find
reliable resources.  Maybe a "how to get started in period
cooking" booklet would be a good long term project for our
guild.
Hummmmm anyone taking notes?

Should we also bring the ones that are considered
"unscholarly" so that new cooks can learn what to avoid, or
question?  "Fabulous Feasts" comes to mind first.  And
although "Sallets, Humbles, etc." looks good, finding the
cornstarch does make me question it.  Admittedly, the author
says the recipts are "adapted for the modern kitchen," but
still!
