[Steppes] Donations of blood

If people wish to give, the Carter Blood Centers are staying open late tonight and will be open as early as 6:00am tomorrow.  Call to check the hours and availability in the location nearest you if you wish to donate.  Sometimes they get very busy at certain times, less so at others.

Keep in mind that if you've spent more than six (6) months cumulative in the UK between 1980-1996, you cannot donate (mad cow).  Also, persons with certain medical conditions cannot donate, and those who have been sick lately (I usually have to assure them it's allergies, not virus) should not donate but should wait until they have recovered.

Blood will probably be needed then, too.
