Actually, to be fair, the 'maps' used to determine the demographic center of 
the Barony at the time we moved business meeting to Le Madelaines were the 
mailling list addresses for the Steppes Letter and the Black Star. That 
demographic center represents the paid membership and the subscribers to the 
local newsletter, not the geographic center of the the zip codes specified by 
the SCA Corporation as being the Barony of the Steppes. I only raise this 
point as a clarification. The demographic center of the population who 
actually contributes to the organization through subscription is a much more 
important factor than the geographic zip code center when making decisions on 
how best to serve the active membership.
