[Steppes] Populace meeting

Good gentles,

Although I am not new to the SCA, I am relatively new to Steppes (just moved
here in March) and would like to attend my first Steppes Populace meeting.
My question is, is period garb a requirement for your Populace meetings?  I
normally do not have a problem with being in garb but I have somewhere
mundane to go immediately following the meeting this Thursday where SCA garb
would not be appropriate and I will not have time to go change.  Is mundane
attire allowed? Your help in this would be greatly appreciated.  I have
checked the map and know where Populace will be held as I have attended a
couple of Archery Guild meetings there in the past.
