Dear lord of the wonderful lady Cristin O'Conaill,

I do not think that was the intent and I hope it was not your intent to
present your lady's dismay in this way either. :)

I was the guildmistress before Elspeth and can say for certain that when
there is no attendance in a room for an activity that that is clear
indication that no attendance is there. It is not a clear indication that
the absent person is a nobody, she did not even use those words, you did,
and that is NOT what she said in her email. Please reassure your lady that
she was not the center or subject of that email. It was a statement of the
condition of the room.

If any this far north wish to gather for a sewing session or two I will open
my home again. But I let the guild go because I live so far north attendance
went from 10 to 12 heads a month when I lived in Plano to only one after a
year in McKinney. He was a real trooper and was there without fail for every
meeting. (Bless you Borek!)

Perhaps the guild needs to be an event guild. Meetings can be held at
fighter practices, local events, and the month before one of our major
events. Every where our counterparts are at fighting the rest of us can be
sewing. (I say counterpart because the guild is not exclusive to any persona
type.)
