We have had color-events in the past. The best one was a Black and Green
theme to tie in with the Steppes baronial heraldry. Bryn Gwalad did a black
and white Candlemas years ago, too.

One of the best Warlord Tournaments was on the theme of Steppes history, with
each list field named for and presided over by a past noble or noble couple
from the Barony's past. That was the event at which the honor shields of the
past warlords were used to line the entire field and the honor shields of the
Oaks were processed into court in their historic order. It all involved a lot
of pomp and ceremony without being tied to any one person's persona or time
period and really celebrated the group's unique history.
