Unto the Archers of Ansteorra

Greetings!!

Who will be the next Steppes Archer?   Can you best the archers native to the Steppes in tourney?  Several do not think so and have been practicing in preparation to best all comers and keep the title in the home barony.  Think you otherwise? Then try your skill at the elimination tourney to be held immediately after court on Saturday.  Only those with superior skill will win but....could you be an upset winner over the favorites?  Come and show your skill by advancing through the levels to win the tourney.  Competition will include speed rounds and target rounds at 5 color or period targets with the final round including a moving target.
No loaner gear is available during this tourney so arrange now for use of equipment and arrows.   All byes will be deadly.
Prizes are several and include a dozen period arrows.

Following Steppes Archery competition will be IKAC/Royal rounds starting at 2 pm.  This is especially for those of you who wish to submit away scores.

On Sunday we will host a childrens shoot for the younger archers with novice training starting at 7:30 am.  Following court will be competition for youth archer.

Later in the day will be one or more fun shoots such as William Tell or Bag of Gold in which archers may test their skill in game type shoots.
