[Steppes] Steppes Warlord XXX

Howdy all again,

We heard briefly from the Event Stewards of Steppes Warlord XXX with a call
for heads for the different sections. The 'sections' were not specified, but
I am sure they include the usual.

Are there any unusual 'section heads' that you are looking for?

Which ones do you already have filled?

What is the theme for the event (assuming your words earlier in conjunction
to the t-shirt issue were any indication that there might actually be one)?

Speaking of T-Shirts (and other commemerative items), what are the Event
Stewards thoughts on this? I have at least one person interested in not only
designing a tshirt, but also in making them.

As for my personal suggestions for the event:

A play was put on least once in the past. I am not sure if the Bardic Guild
is interested in this or if we could get the Bjornsborg troup I hear is
playing at thier next event.

In light of this being a XXX event ;), how about a baudy Bardic?

I have been toying with the idea of suspending something (clothe, net, etc)
from the tops of the light poles on the list field to shade to fighters,
heralds, and waterbearers. Not sure of the feasibility, but it is something
to think about.

I'm sure I'll think of other things that might be interesting to include in
the event. Does anyone else have any suggestions for the Warlord Event
Stewards? This event, as all of the baronies events are, is put on by all of
us. The Event Stewards have an idea of what they want to see happen for the
event and this is good. With the populace's input on what is going to happen
at the event, it can be made even better. Not all suggestions will be
accepted, some will be combined or modified by other suggestions, and you
may be asked to head the idea if it is accepted by the Event Stewards and
Their Excellencies Fritz and Catrin so be prepared to be 'volunteered' ;) Be
involved in what we do as a barony and we will show Ansteorra that we are
the greatest barony in the kingdom.
