Well, there are issues with segregating feast ppl, etc. [good luck if
you try it :) ], but there are still non-feast eaters who will need
table space, however you arrange them. And we are *full* at Sokol
hall.

Having done that once, it is a pain and very labor intensive. Judging
runs late, the people in the back don't load out on time, ppl come in
and can't sit down because there's no space, etc.

Well, if you don't have most ppl getting there until 1-2 pm, and then
set up, etc. it's kind of setting yourself up to run long. And
speaking as a former autorcrat, I would hate to have the mid day
change-of-set that a 4:00 change over would take.

Unfortunately the room is pretty full at that point, and part of the
event is to be social before the-court-that-never-ends starts up.

If you set it up so that the tent is adjacent to the back door
there's not really any worry about rain, and a few space heaters can
keep it nice and toasty.

Yeah. If we could find a bigger hall that might be ideal, but you
never know.

Also, if they would rent us out the whole building (bar room and all)
we could do artisan inside. Sokol might be happier closing the bar
for one day and getting our $$$ than having us go elsewhere...
