It is very apparent that you have misunderstood.
You are mistaken if you think I was speaking of the "general" Celtic
community.
I have been around this community for over 5 years now.  I am very aware of
the fact that most of them are very knowledgable of the SCA and other
communities and that they understand "old and ancient" traditions.
I am not speaking of THESE types of folks.  I am speaking in regards to
people who are "new" to the Celtic community.  And ... whether you realize it
or not ... there are many coming into the Celtic community ... many who are
inquiring.

I believe that you are the one that is "assuming" things.  So please , before
accusing me of "blaming" or accusing me of misplaced prejudices , you should
ask me what I mean if you are not clear. :)
