Ok everyone.  Lets take a step back for a minute.  The discussion seems
to eb headign in the diresction that the reduction in the number of
events is a done deal.  It is my understanding that this is ONE option.
The discussion was generated to trya nd brainstorm other potential
solutions.  Are we saying that limiting the number of events a group can
have is the only solution?

Ok, I'll put it out there.  Realize I am not saying that I support this
option, but another solution is splitting the kingdom and forming a
principality.  Good or bad this is actually an option.  I would think
that this is generally one of the reasons for forming a principality.
Lets face it, with the limitation of only having only so many weekends,
that does limit the growth of a kingdom.  There eventually comes a point
in the growth of a kingdom where it is choking itself because it simply
cannot do anymore in the time allotted.

That is another potential solution.  My question to you is there any
more?
