This was (I am ashamed to admit) the first year that I've attended the Glaslyn defender event, but it will not be the last.  Any of you that missed this event did yourselves a disservice, as it was one of the most exciting lists I've ever seen.  Not only was it exciting to see the defenders show their best moves against many attackers, but it was great to see how much fun they were all having while doing it.  I can't remember when I've heard so many cheers and laughs coming from the field.

At the beginning of the day when I looked around and saw how few of my fellow Steppes members were in attendance I thought "how bad of them to not come out and show support for our Canton" but as the day went on I stared to think "how wrong of them to have missed out on all this fun!"  You really should not miss it next year!
