[Steppes] Pride in our Archers, was: Archery Practice- Last IKAC of season

It *was* chilly. it *was* windy.
It was *exactly* as the Steppes archers train in. They seem to be able to
out-shoot many non-Steppes archers because of it!

The Steppes archers have confidence developed from muscles exercised through
dedicated practice, shooting many, many arrows in some of the most adverse
conditions, as well as the most pleasant of days.

They are at the field in cold weather, gusty winds, drizzle that threatens
rain, and scorching heat that opens fist-wide cracks in the ground. They are
there when the day has gentle winds and the sun is kind.

It is because of this dedication that the rest of Steppes can take pride in
the accomplishments of our archers and the positions they have won
throughout these past few years.

Vivat, Steppes archers!

Come out to the archery field, which can be seen from Motley Drive, at
Eastfield Community College on Sunday mornings and cheer them on. You don't
have to shoot. Just bring your chair and anything you need for comfort.
