That's Loy Lake Park....Sherman/Denison Tx. (just south of the Tx.Ok border
on I 75. The entrance to the park is on the access to the Interstate. I
drove by there for *years* without knowing there was a lake there....its
that well screened from the highway. The Grayson County Sheriff's Posse uses
the arena to practice and there is *lots* of room for horse trailers.

Now, a loaded Horse trailer weighs about as much as an RV..........and there
is parking for same.

The lake is only a few minutes walk from the arena....(about as far as the
Equest. field was from camping at Canton) so that shouldn't be a problem.
There are campsites and trees (no idea how many exactly) but it could be
looked into.

It's convenient from north or south Ansteorra, as well as Stepps....perhaps
someone would like to look into it?
