[Steppes] money at gate

In Elfsea at the end of every 2 hour shift we close out the sign up sheets
and a money drop is made to a locked car close by.  If we get robbed we'll
know exactly how much money is locked up and how much money is in the till.

Is this practice a standard for Gate or just something Elfsea does?

This is something that is a problem waiting to happen. One year in the past
the Canton Police expressed a concern that we had people sitting up with
money at 3:00 AM with very little protection. 2-3 people at gate would
easily be over powered by even one person with a gun. As long as we have
gate open all night on Friday night, we are just counting the days until
there is a robbery where someone could be hurt or killed. We can't control
the weather, but we can do something about this.
