[Steppes] Black Death Lying in Wait

The bubonic bacteria is present in many prairie dog towns in the west,
this includes far west Texas (Odessa area, I know).  It will
occasionally show up further east, some years ago, during Sutan's reign,
it had showed up in the Abilene area.  The autocrat's cautioned everyone
about it.  Hunters and ranchers are in the most danger, there are
several cases every year.  If caught early, antibiotics are very
effective, but, the earliest signs look like flu, so it can be missed.
Something to remember if there is a chance you could be exposed.
