I wish to mention that good number of the fighters and their supporters
have been traveling, attending and fighting either on a Saturday and/or
on a Sunday, in the case of Gothic Wars, for the entire month of
September. Starting on the 12th of September coming out on Sunday
afternoon to fighter practice. Thus, there are the aches and pains of
fighting in tournaments and at a War event, then coming out to fight on
Sunday afternoon as well.

The last fighter practice of September is now behind us. The day was
sunny with a NNE wind that at times struck a bit of a chill if you were
in the shade that day. The time of practice drew near and the faithful
gather, the park was back to normal - meaning there was no "barn
animals" nor a lama to be seen in the parking lot.

There were times when the sky did cloud and provided cover from what
heat there was, if you were in armor it was more of a delight to be
fighting.

A number of good gentles had also attended our sister Barony's event,
Elfsea Defender.

Next weekend is Crown tournament in San Angelo. There will be a number
of fighters that will be attending this event. A number of fighters will
not be attending Crown this weekend for a various reasons and they WILL
BE AT THE PARK on Sunday. 

There is also at least two full sets of loaner armor available to people
to get into and fight.

Now is the time to mention that in November that there are two war
events coming up.

3 Kings, which will be the weekend of November 12th through 14th, at
Hawkins County (RV) park which is west of Hawkins, Texas.

Autumn Melees, which will be the weekend of November 18th through 21st,
at Jones Country in Colmesneil, Texas.

If you are planning to attend either or both of these events and intend
to fight with the rest of the heavy fighters. Then you need to come out
to practice to prepare for these 2 war events!
