With the late notice sent on the gathering, the rain that's expected from 
now through Sunday, and the very little response we've received, we are 
*postponing* the Gathering until next weekend, being March 19, 20 and 21.  
If you're interested in being there, please let us know by Wednesday, March 
17 (St. Patrick's Day!) so we can let everyone else know if more than 10 
people will be there, so they can decide if they want to be there 
themselves.  <Grin!>

Please note: this is an *Unofficial*, Impromptu, Informal, Potential 
Gathering at a privately-owned site.  Everyone who attends must sign the 
waiver, including adults signing for their own children: every child must 
have a parent present.

Attendance, activities and the potential of injuries are entirely at your 
own choice and risk.

The site is the same one used for the Regional War Practice.

The site is rustic and primitive: this means, for example, prairie wildlife, 
uncontrolled domesticated and undomesticated animals that do not belong to 
the site owners, and the potential risk of injury from debris and ground 
holes (for example: crawdad, gopher, other burrowing animals) on the land.

There is a "pond" or water tank that is marshy on one side, not cleaned up, 
tested, or fenced off: we recommend you and others stay away from it.

Please clean up after yourselves, including cigarette butts -- there will be 
trash bags on site.

There is a portajon on site.

There are no shelters on site.

Well-mannered horses are welcome: no boarding or containment facilities on 
site.

Archers are welcome.  We recommend you bring your targets and butts.

Donations will be used to defray the costs and expenses of making the site 
more "user friendly".

Although questions are welcome, it may be several days before someone can 
answer them due to the present insanity of mundane work schedules.
