Pain pumps are wunnnnnderful!!  Just make sure your IV is in a good spot.I
hate having it in the back of my hand and if you have to lift yourself up
with one hand, don't have it in the wrist.  YIPES!!!
Been there, done that. Last time, I made them put it in my forearm. Much
more comfy.

Can any of us bring you a casserole, BBQ, or get groceries for you? Need
anything?

Just send an e-mail.

Surgery scheduled for Monday morning.  I'm taking a 2 week leave of absence
from work.
They're installing a "pain pump" during the surgery, which of course is a
THRILLING notion.  :)
