[Steppes] RE: Thanksgiving Demo

To all those gentles who have responded so generously about donating
time to the demo to be presented to the North Texas Mensa Regional
Gathering over the Thanksgiving weekend,

 

Thank you so much for your support for my request for help!  It has been
truly gratifying to see the response.  I have 22 people registered as of
today, which is WONDERFUL!  However, tonight is my deadline for turning
in names for nametags which will give access to the parts of the
gathering other than our demo area.  If you have responded that you
would like to participate, but have not yet sent me your full SCA
name/title/area of demo, AND mundane name, please do so ASAP.  I can
accept registrations up until midnight tonight, but will email the list
to the RG chairperson at midnight. 

 

If you do NOT have your name in by tonight, it does not mean you cannot
participate in the demo if you find out at the last minute that you will
have the time; it simply means that you will not have access to the
Hospitality Suite or any of the other activities before and after the
demo.

 

A recap of the demo info:  it is being held on November 26 (the Friday
after Thanksgiving) at the Marriott Quorum in Addison, at the southwest
corner of Belt Line and the Dallas North Tollroad, from 6 - 10 p.m.
Setup will start at 5 p.m. If you are already registered, when you get
to the hotel, look for the NTM RG Registration, which should be up on
the Mezzanine level, to pick up your nametags. If you are not
registered, come directly to the Main ballroom for setup and to check in
with me.  I will be in the room starting at 4:45 or so. At 6, any badges
not picked up will be given to me to hand out at the demo.   This is an
opportunity to pull out the best of your costumes and arts&crafts, and
talk to people who will ask about everything!
