Just to give a possibly broader perspective it is interesting to note that the recommended setting in the Mailman software is for the reply to go to the sender.  

Also if you are interested you might want to go read http://www.unicom.com/pw/reply-to-harmful.html.  If you cannot get to that page then a Google search on "reply to harmful" will turn up a great many alternate sources for this article.

Is there an absolute rule as to which it should be, no of course not.  Is the article considered 100% right, no again.  But the information does certainly give you something to think about.
