[Steppes] Fwd: [Ansteorra] Youthful Combatants

Konichi-wa!!
I have been going to and officiating at martial art tournaments for many
years.

The leading body in Texas, the AOK, does not let anyone under the age of 18
fight anyone 18 years old or older, in tournaments, ever.

16-17 years of age fight together.

the reasons they cite are safety and liability issues, as a waiver is not
really lawsuit proof.

Now in SCHOOLS, it happens everyday, but not in competition.

Just food for thought.
