Greetings, Steppes,

For those of you who are not on either the Lindenwood list or the Central
list,

Herein is the information about the Elizabeth I exhibit in Grand Prairie.
The library is located south of I-20 and east of Loop 360. They will be
having speakers on Elizabethan food, Falconry demonstrations, and movie
nights.

Lady Maria has volunteered to host a lecture on Elizabethan embroidery on
July 12th at 7 pm and Lindenwood is volunteering to host a demo on July 2
and will be organizing that in the near future.

The exhibit opens on June 25, the same date as the Midsummer's Ball in
Lindenwood and closes August 2. It might be nice to have a newcomers night
towards the end of July and prepare them to attend Steppes Artisan on August
13. I would be willing to host one at my house.

If you are interested in taking part in a demo or hosting an activity,
please contact Lord Domhnall at: steverourke at charter.net

This sounds like a great opportunity for an adult focused demo to an
audience we haven't reached out to before. Library demos are often very
successful in getting new people to join our groups.

In Service,

Mistress Xene
