Greetings,

I was watching a movie and a specific scene came up which caught my attention.
I thought I would share.

A man with flowers walked into a shop, presented the flowers to the cashier,
and told her, “These are for you. I can’t stop thinking about you since I met
you.” She said, “Aren’t you out of uniform?” To which he replied, “I’m a
civil war re-enactor. I guess that I like to think that Chivalry and Honor
still mean something in this day and age.”

What a nice line! I think we should borrow it! Here’s a version I came up
with.

“I’m a re-enactor of the Middle Ages and early Renaissance. I guess that I
like to think that Chivalry, Honor and Courtly Romance still count for
something in this day and age.”

Can you imagine a woman hearing this from a man? Wow, what a line!!! I’d fall
for it! :D

“It was a good clang, with the oiyoiyoioioioioioinnnnnggggggg that is the mark of a clang well done.” The Wee Free Men, by Terry Pratchett. (also the exact sound of a face connecting with a Paris traffic light) :D
