Question for one and all
Was it Mid April - Easter Sunday
   Or Mid June?
Temperature 95 - breaks 1920 Record
Which stood for 80 years
While the winds changed
 From Gusts to Light
"Big Sky" became the description
No clouds linger and color blue

While both 3 and 4 legged "Bears"
   Prowl the parking area
With bells and tunes to delight the child
      in everyone - young or old
 For green returned cooling treats
   of all who feed them
   Lots of parking, never full

Still bluebonnets were in evidence
Thus boxes of Merlin pointed
   toward small groups in best garb
Marking this day for tall and small

Overall, with the breeze
  a fine day to in the park
   Wearing armor and hearing the sweet sound
     Of rattan swinging in the air
      For two who join the regular crowd
       A proper welcome to Justin and Danny
          One from New Orleans
            While the other local
               but not played since '96

Training involves separate levels of heavy fighting -
Basic level to "Good"
Man-At-Arms and/or Squire entry level
Centurion level
Tournament level
Combat Archery

The usual reminder:
Please bring at least 1 gallon or more of water and gatorade. I
recommend 2 gallons of fluids and snacks to replenish your
energy levels. Plus, various types of snacks
- cold pickles
- oranges - energy bars - etc...
- Bring Chairs for you to sit upon.
- Perhaps a grill to heat snack food
- Dress for the weather
- Sunscreen
- Hats
- Sun pavilions can be set up
