        Notice to those who are interested in the crusades:::  KERA, Channel 13, our local PBS station is showing a documentary retelling of the Third Crusade and the leaders of each side, Christondom's King Richard the Lionheart and Islam's Saladin.  In 1187, a Muslim army battered down the gates of Jerusalem and seized the city from its Christian rulers.  After Richard became king, he took up the challenge, and a bloody 18 month fight engulfed the Holy Land as a result. (From the Dallas Morning News)  This shows Wednesday, April 19, from 9 to 11, on Dallas channel 13.
