[Steppes] Fun and Educational Time at C&I!

Greetings unto the populace of the Steppes!

I wanted to thank Her Excellency, Baroness Francesca for once again hosting
the Calligraphy and Illumination (C&I) gathering yesterday evening at her
home.  We had about 10 people in attendance.  This was my second time to
come to this meeting, and I've learned a lot both times!

Lady Nuala (please forgive me if I misspelled your name) gave a very helpful
presentation on how to get started in C&I, or "(Stuff) I wish I had known."
:-)  For me as a fledgling Illuminator (I began my first charter at last
month's meeting), the information she gave was very enlightening.  I had not
known about the differences in types of paints and the right way to care for
your tools.  It was great!

If you have even a slight interest in C&I, please come to a meeting.  If you
don't have supplies- not to worry, there are supplies that are shared.
Everyone is very helpful, too!  The meetings are held on the Third Tuesday
of the month.
