Jacque,

Thank you!!!
We have been offered a site already by Master Petruccio(sp?) on his land
which has over 20 acres and is well suited for camping and all forms of
fighting as well as archery and equestrian, at minimal cost to the Barony (
gas to mow the pasture and our renting porta privies) I have a specific
scenario in mind for the fighting...but as I have no experience with combat
archery scenarios I would greatly appreciate your assistance in working the
combat archery into this one. The sceneario I have in mind is melee style
ressurection battle with a twist...Francesca actually heard me discussing
the style of what I am looking at if she remembers. I would also love to be
able to work the equestrians into the same scenario, but I am unsure of how
that would work out...I will have to speak to Elizabetta on that. (the
scenario actually involves at this time teams with heavy and rapier fighters
on both sides which are chosen at random)

I also have plans in the works for several competitions off the fields, such
as hand kissing, grovelling, a camel stealing competition, cooking
competitions, the aforementioned mini artisan and an asassins game, plus an
evening Youth Revel/ Bardic circle as well as an Adult Bardic.

This also gives us the oppourtunity to get the kids involved in volunteering
as water bearers, pages etc. by giving them tokens or tickets for a
volunteers raffle thereby making them feel useful at events.

The suggestion of a Sunday event was with my not knowing that this is
generally an overnite event. As my "weekend" is tuesday and wednesday...I
sometimes forget the Monday work week:)
