Another thing is that there is more of the "geek factor" at AKon
than at the Scottish Festival. I hate to admit it but geeks are
the SCA's lifeblood. People going to the Scottish Festival are more
interested in the caber toss and drinking beer than putting on
armor.

AKon folk are familiar with the SCA and want to go "try it for real"
more than others. We also need to get contact information on
flyers and put in comics and hobby stores.

Just a thought.
