[Steppes] 12th Night & Artisa

Oh I like this idea. A regional Artisan, combined with Elfsea's Collegium.
This is by far the best idea I've heard yet. One of the things that came up
last year (at least) was the total lack of any attraction for anyone that
wasn't competing or judging. This isn't anyone's fault, it's just that the
event wasn't designed for it. The suggestion came up of people teaching
classes at the event so that non-competitors can have something worth while
to give them a reason to come. I believe that's the aim this year.

Combining a competition, to showcase what is possible to create, and then
classes to show you how to do it, sounds like a wonderful combination.
Perhaps we could even have the competitors teach classes as well. They'd
already have examples of their work available ;-) We'd just need to schedule
their judging so that they could be absent from their table for their class.
I always believed that the mark of true accomplishment is the ability to
duplicate yourself by teaching others.
