Heilsa,

Forecast calls for low to mid 60's - after the last two months - that is
indeed a heat wave!

I sounding a call for all fighters to come out and enjoy the opportunity
to don armor and enjoy an afternoon of fighting. It is only 3 more
Sundays before individuals will march East for Gulf Wars!

How ready are you to fight?
On both the battlefield and tournament field.

Come out and let all of us have fun.

Activities planned:
Will be setting up the tournament square and hopefully will be able to
start that Bear Pit.
Training -
One-on-one

Combat Archery - there is a young gentle who intends to travel to Gulf
Wars and fight for the 1st time for Ansteorra. To accomplish this, I am
seeking heavy fighters to assist him in becoming authorized. His name is
Richard Nine Fingers - son of HL Donnel and Ld Alvin.
The question is what will the heavy fighters who step forward be asked
to help with?

Note - Important Note
Richard Nine Fingers is 16 yrs., his parents will be present. They were
present last Sunday when he don armor, pick up a shield and sword and
faced off against Sir Morgan for training in heavy fighting. Plus with
Lord Hosey, who has been assisting in training with Sir Morgan over the
years, providing additional set of eyes for Sir Morgan to give Richard
Nine Fingers the best form instruction in heavy fighting.

Answer:
A normal melee practice with combat archery involved. This will give an
opportunity for Richard an actual taste of combat on a melee field and
prepared him for Gulf Wars. Both in attack mode and defense mode for a
combat archer.

Seeking additional combat archers and Marshals to aid in providing the
needed conditions to ensure that this young man will be prepared for
Gulf Wars and that he meets the requirements to be authorize.

Looking forward to seeing all of you this Sunday

Ld Michael Kettering
Steppes Knight Marshal
