I talked to the people that this happened to at All com and I know how upset they were. 

People are human and the very things that make us noble can often make us do unfortunate things. His Majesty has a very faithful and loyal entourage. They were very hurt by the comments made by people and I include myself in "people". They knew that his Majesty was caught between a rock and a hard place. He felt he needed to support the Crowns of Ansteorra and officers and he wanted to help the people in the West. The Action had been done by the previous Crown but their Majesties were getting the flack. His Majesty's people just wanted to support him and in their passion they were discourteous to innocent people. 

I want your friend to understand they did the same to me but I admired them for showing strong loyalty to their King. 

We need to remember that politics in the SCA isn't a Dream. It is real and involves things that are very important to each and every one of us. It involves friendship and family and community.

 Because we believe we are trying to live with the Grand Ideals of the SCA. It is important that we try very hard to live to values of the Code of Chivalry and each and every one of us should act in a Knightly manner. We all fail. I have failed. I ask everyone to embrace one of the Ideals, Mercy and please forgive each other.
