The Black Star is the populace badge, though, isn't it? So not the symbol of the thrones, but of all of us?

A few generations ago, when TRMs were Duncan and Larissa, I made them a pair of
ceramic goblets, with their personal device on one side and the Ansteorran Star
on the other.
