Lauren, I hope to meet you at Coronation. My family is fairly new to the
SCA and we
have only been around for about a year. Because of our kids and their
schedules/beditmes we don't come to as many things as we would like, but I
do find that if you help with some activities at events(as Chiara Francesca
mentioned)
you will gradually get to know people. I don't know everyone yet by
a long way, and there are lots of people I know by sight but not well,
but I just keep working at it. My husband and I are both a little on the
shy side too,
but we are trying to overcome it.
I will be helping Lady Klara with MOC activities at Coronation,
so I hope you will seek us out and introduce yourself!!

Christianna Fergusson
