Gouache , a water based paint specifically for illumination is what you want.

Winsor and Newton is the best,

But I like some of Holbein's metallics.

.
Thank you,

> I've been looking at ebay for paints. I've found several Winsor & Newton sets. My question is what kind of paint do I want to look for? I've found water mixable oils, acrylics, watercolors. So far I haven't found anything that says 'goauche' (sp).
