[Steppes] boundaries (was: a big long subject line)

Sounds reasonable to me and looks like the original boundaries were figured from 20 years ago when there was a number of folks in that area.  Now traffic patterns and distances mean that most of the southern folks have a long way to go to get to anything.  Now the seneshal lives in Rowlett.    Dont know what would make sense now.  Wonder where the membership is at for the various groups?

I totally see where you are coming from Jaque. After looking at that map, I was surprised to see where the boundaries fell.

My guess is that Lindenwood was originally conceived as a way to accommodate those who lived along the Steppes/Elfsea border, so they wouldn't have to drive 45 minutes either east or west to participate. Sounds good in theory, but no one considered the north/south travel times... or if they did, it was just the best they could do to accommodate those "midcities" folks.

Again, just my guess.

P.S. It was good seeing you at the Christmas party... which I only realized after you mentioned it, was south of I-30... hehe.
