Good Gentles,

First, I apologize for weighing in a bit late on this; however, I am not feeling well these days and hope my tardiness will be forgiven.

While I would like to participate more in local activities and meetings, time and distance as well as my physical state make this difficult at the best of times.  And, this is definitely not the best of times.

Due to traffic cosiderations, it takes me a minimum of 55 minutes to drive to Business Meeting and it has taken up to an hour and a half.  (And I live 20-25 miles north of Jacques.)  The last time I tried to go to a Populace in the northern sector, I gave up after 1 hour and 45 minutes fighting traffic.

Since most Baronial activities and meetings take place north of I-635, the driving difficulties make attendance for most of us in the southern sector untenable.  While I miss participating in SCA activities, I doubt the SCA misses me very much.

I hope that, at some time in the future, my circumstances improve and I will be able to participate at least in a limited way.

YIS,

Lady Fionnghuala the Fair "Nuala" and/or Liz and/or my evil twin, Cedric
